Prayer

Hall Mary StatueCommunal and private prayer, sacred reading, and meditation all revolve around the center of our life—the daily celebration of the Eucharist, the heart and spiritual source of our whole day.

As Redemptoristine contemplatives, our life is hidden with Christ in God.  This unites us with Christ in spirit and heart and makes us live the Mysteries of his Incarnation.

Silence, being an essential value of monastic life, liberates the soul, and always brings with it a call of the desert to solitude and peace and opens the heart to God.

It is in and through the Eucharist, and our life of prayer, that we are being transformed into faithful images of our Redeemer and learn to be living Eucharist for the Church and for the world.

We receive prayer petitions in person, by phone and mail, and via the Internet. All of these are posted and remembered by our sisters daily.
